Eclipse Corridor and Lunar Nodes

Twice (or occasionally three times) a year Sun, Moon and Earth align with each other to produce an impressive spectacle of Solar and Lunar eclipses. Both of them come together (about 14 days apart) with solar eclipses occurring during New Moon, lunar eclipses — during Full Moon. This period of time is called eclipse season or Eclipse corridor.

This year the entry point of Eclipse corridor is Annular Solar eclipse on February 17th, the exit point is Total Lunar eclipse on March 3rd.

If the eclipses are the doors of the corridor, the lunar nodes are the walls. They define the themes of collective transformation, that takes place between the two points. Lunar nodes are not physical objects. They are imaginary or mathematical points where Moon’s orbit intersects the ecliptic. They move every 18 months in retrograde motion along the ecliptic plane.Within the Eclipse corridor the Moon moves between the nodes. Their conjunction defines the direction of the energy. This time the Moon is conjunct with North Node during Solar Eclipse on Feb 17th and directed into the future, works as a catalyst of creation. Moon conjunction with South Node during Lunar Eclipse on March 3rd points to the past and helps purge and release outdated beliefs and energies.

Current Eclipse corridor has its South Node stationed at 8° in Virgo (Tropical) or at 14°Leo (Sidereal) and North Node at 8° in Pisces (Tropical) or at 14° in Aquarius (Sidereal). Let’s add galactic alignments to the picture.

South Node (the Past) is aligned with Alioth, Epsilon Ursa Majoris, the brightest star in the constellation of the Big Bear. North Node (the Future) is aligned with PacMan nebula in constellation of Cassiopeia (The Queen).

Alioth represents the energetic signature of Liakish, paradise-like realm where souls restore and heal their wounds after challenging incarnations. PacMan nebula emanate the light codes that remove distortions within the mind under the spell of manipulation and control.

On a human level (Tropical) we are departing from a comfort zone of practical planning and coping with wounds by rationalizing, perfecting tangible reality, and heading to spiritual understanding of reality stripped of delusion and fantasies. On a level of spirit (Sidereal) we are leaving behind the old ways of leading, hierarchy and spiritual arrogance, and stepping into collaborative sovereignty with freedom of critical thinking.

It is worth mentioning that this Eclipse corridor is influenced by a massive galactic X-ray source, black hole Cygnus X-1. It had a tight orb (about 2°) with New Moon on Feb 17th, that added some intensity, revelations and insights to the mixture. North Node is 7° apart from Cyg X-1, but still within the orb of influence. New reality comes in with the shocking intensity of revelations and insights both on a collective and personal level. It is easy to get sucked in and obsessed with the overload of new information. We don’t have to process everything within two weeks of the eclipse season. It will unfold naturally within upcoming 6 months, before we enter the next Eclipse corridor in August 2026.
