Full Moon in Facies, blindspot of the Archer

Great Sagittarius Cluster, M-22

Full Moon on June 29th at 8°15’ Capricorn marks the half of a year and invites us to check our alignment to intentions we set in the beginning of 2026. This Full Moon is conjunct with Great Sagittarius Cluster, M-22, one of only four globular clusters in our Galaxy and the only one which contains planetary nebula Facies or GJJC1. Placed in the Archer’s (or Sagittarius) face, Facies is associated with blindness and injuries as a result of emotional or spiritual blindness. It represents our blindspot, those sneaky limiting beliefs or overzealous ungrounded fantasies that veil our vision and misdirect arrows of our intentions.

This Full Moon sheds the light on tightly kept misconceptions and delusions and gives the opportunities to release them. It does so through the light reflected from the Sun which is conjunct with Beta Monocerotis, one of the stars within the constellation of Unicorn. Lighthearted, joyful and playful energy of Unicorns acts as a conduit for recognizing a blindspot within the subconscious mind and subsequently releasing it without overthinking. In a way we are given a chance to have a third-eye surgery, to remove shady gauzy film from it and gain clarity of vision for proper actions in the second half of a current year.
